The importance of Size Up and completing a 360 of the building is brought to light in this picture. The picture was taken at a house used for training. The picture view is from the family room of the house looking at the indoor swimming pool. Believe it or not there was nothing to give you any clue a pool existed unless you had saw it from the outside during size up. The pool was from 4 foot to 10 foot deep. Imagine searching or advancing a line in heavy smoke conditions and falling into the pool. This is not the only house with an indoor pool. If you check around you may have some in your response area. Stay low and aware of your sorroundings at all times, you never know what you may enocounter next.
